Good Evening my wonderful Dresses In The Wind!

Georgia Peach, oh how I miss you. I miss how you always had an opinion about my ways. I feel like I can't do anything without consulting you first. I need your approval. I have realized that I can't just rely on your good intentions, especially since you are not here! I can't live without your lovvee....?

Anyways, I love summer semester so much! There are some things I need to update you on:

1) Most importantly, Peanut Butter Lily and I already finished two jars of peanut butter. oops!

2) I am going to Oregon, not this weekend, but next! I NEED YOUR HELP! what do I wear? How do I act? Should I always be helpful? Should I always hang out with his family and not seclude myself?

3) I got yellow vans

4) Our old roommate is in our science class. hahahhaha....I haven't talked to her yet.

5) My boyfriend is going to say "I love you" in Oregon. I'm sure of it. :)

6) I went to the tanning bed for the first time in my life. I'm going to die.

7) I worked out for the first time in a long time and I fell off the treadmill.

8) I have only taken about 3 naps this semester. You should be proud of me.

Anyways, I believe that we should post a video soon, letting you know how much we miss you.

I'm glad that we have a bond that will last forever. I love you girls.

Here is a pic we took after church today...We are loving the semester but I cannot believe how much we miss you, GP! There is a little empty spot in all of our hearts, a spot void of wedding plans, graphic design, and sweet blogs. Keep us updated on all the crafting and we'll be up on that Etsy for sure!

Oh, Seattle...Bliss

This afternoon I went with my family to downtown Seattle. We spent most of our time at Pike's Place Market, one of my favorite places in the world! It's right uphill from the Puget Sound where the ferries and sailboats go back and forth, and there are rows of flower bouqets that go forever. On a lovely Saturday afternoon like today it was so crowded and full of people--but I almost like it better that way. This is a city full of every different kind of person :)

My home... today in this spot there were guys jammin' on their accordians. And by "jammin," I mean they were down on their knees with tears in their eyes. That's what I call Soul.

Me and the sibs at the famous fish market. Anyone seen Sleepless in Seattle? It was all filmed right here in town.

I loved being here--lots of inspiration and happiness.

Wow! Boy am I behind on the blogging.... I had one of those days that I saw something that reminded me of each of you! First, Curly Q... My best friend's boy friend is from Washington and he was telling me all about it and all I could imagine was you. He lives in like a really hippie part and it totally described you and I loved it! I want to go visit! Second, Georgia Peach.... I was walking on the most gorgeous beach today in San Diego.... picture to show, and there was a group of people setting up for a wedding reception and boy was it hideous, they had port-a-potties! Whew they needed you! Third, but not last, Swedish Fish.... I was at dinner tonight and this guy was sitting at the table catty corner of me and he had VANS on and not only vans but he had a harry potter sticker on the bottom of them. I thought he was real BA! I just wanted to let you all know I was thinking about you and want to give you a little piece of my home! Let us end with a little song...

New things!

This is definitely not Georgia Peach photography by any means, but we bought little daffodil bunchs yesterday and this is a picture of the window sill in our kitchen. Makes me smile :)

These are my latest clips! I took the picture with a little point-and-shoot, so the details don't look great but whatever. The creme one is my absolute favorite.

Scarves

I had a thought today. While admiring a cute picture of a bride in a scarf and contemplating how expensive ties are, I wondered if it would be strange to have the guys not wear ties but rather wear scarves instead. I am not normally a fan of guys in scarves, I think it's kind of gay, but I think for the sake of pictures, it could look pretty good. Then I got to thinking, would it look bad if the guys didn't wear ties at all? Just as long as there was no chest hair stickin out? haha I don't know. Thoughts???

This is the clip that I started last night and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. I just sewed one of those snappy clips to the back...I've started going through more stuff around my house to take back to school so I can make lots more! (It's kind of hard to see the burned edges in the photo...this is the best I could do with a quick self-portrait)

I have decided that I need to make an official name for my business cards and make some new business cards so I need help!

Possible Names I have come up with so far:

but I also think it'd be cool to not use photography at all and either replace it with "fauxtography" or do like just a phrase like one company in atlanta is "once upon a spark." Thoughts?
